Ron Bachman
motivates students to
‘Walk This Way’!
Nationally recognized motivational speaker, Ron Bachman will present a special program on tolerance, bullying, acceptance, and self-image in the Manchester area October 10th through October 15th.
Bachman was born in the Detroit area with a birth defect that resulted in having his legs amputated up to his hips when he was 4 years old. Facing that adversity and overcoming many obstacles, he now travels the world with his “Walk This Way” program, which stresses the importance of personal growth and diversity, told through Bachman’s own life experience. He worked for a number of years in broadcasting and radio and was the subject of a 1998 documentary, which helped launch his career in public speaking. Bachman also is the 2008 winner of the national Energizer Keep Going Award.
